RosieRosie

Privacy Policy

Effective October 8, 2026

Rosie is a personal assistant you talk to over iMessage and on the web at tryrosie.app. This policy explains what Rosie collects, how it is used, who helps process it, and the choices you have. Rosie is an invite-only service run by an individual developer.

What Rosie collects

  • Account details: your phone number (used to sign you in) and the access code you joined with.
  • Conversations: the messages you send Rosie and her replies, including attachments and screenshots she creates while working for you.
  • Memory and skills: facts and preferences Rosie learns from your conversations, summaries of past conversations, routines (“skills”) you approve, and the personal details you enter on the Memory page.
  • Vault: logins, payment cards, and other details you choose to save. Vault secrets are encrypted and are never shown to the AI model; they are only filled directly into websites you ask Rosie to use.
  • Connected Google account (optional): if you connect Google, Rosie can read and act on your Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Contacts when a request needs it.
  • Phone calls (optional): when you ask Rosie to place a call, the details you confirm (who to call, why, and what she may agree to), the call transcript, its outcome, and a short-lived recording link from our calling provider.
  • Technical data: basic logs such as timestamps, IP addresses, and error reports needed to run and secure the service.

How Rosie uses it

Only to provide the assistant you asked for: answering your messages, doing tasks on your behalf, remembering what you want remembered, placing calls you confirm, and keeping the service secure and working. Rosie does not sell your data, does not show ads, and does not use your data to train AI models.

Google user data

Rosie requests access to Gmail (read, organize, draft, and send), Google Calendar (view availability and manage events), and Google Contacts (read only), plus your basic profile and email address. Rosie uses this data only to carry out requests you make, such as finding an email, checking your calendar, or drafting a reply. It is not used for advertising, not sold, not transferred to others except as needed to provide these features or as required by law, and not read by humans except with your permission, for security, or as required by law.

Rosie’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can disconnect Google at any time in Settings or at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

Service providers

Rosie relies on these companies to operate. They process data only to provide their service to Rosie:

  • Vercel: hosting, file storage, and AI model routing
  • Neon: database
  • Linq: sending and receiving iMessages
  • AI model providers reached through Vercel’s AI Gateway, such as OpenAI, Anthropic, and Meta: generating Rosie’s replies
  • Kernel: cloud web browsers Rosie uses for tasks
  • Retell AI: placing and transcribing phone calls
  • Google: only if you connect your Google account

Phone calls

Rosie only places a call after you confirm it. Every call begins by saying that Rosie is an AI assistant calling on your behalf and that the call is recorded. If someone asks Rosie not to call them again, Rosie will stop calling them for you.

Your choices

  • See, edit, export, or delete what Rosie remembers on the Memory page, or use “Forget everything”.
  • Pause memory, or limit how long conversations are kept.
  • Delete Vault items and disconnect Google at any time.
  • To delete your account and its data, email gilamado1@gmail.com.

Retention and security

Data is kept while your account is active and is deleted when you delete it or your account. If you choose a shorter conversation history on the Memory page, older conversations stop being shown, searched, or exported; to remove them from storage right away, delete them on the Memory page or email us. Data is encrypted in transit, Vault secrets are encrypted at rest, and access is limited to what is needed to run the service.

Children

Rosie is not intended for anyone under 18.

Changes and contact
